Studio logo and show artwork preparation
Most studio logos were drawn for a leotard, a car window or a social media profile. Encore Trophy Studio looks at the artwork at award-plate scale. If it is too small, too soft or too full of script flourishes, we prepare a clean line version.

What if the studio logo is only on our dancewear?
Ask the dancewear or embroidery supplier for the file they stitched from, and send that to Encore Trophy Studio along with a photo of the garment. We work out whether the logo can be used as it is, simplified or redrawn. You compare the prepared artwork with the original, letter by letter, before it goes on any award.
Why does a show logo made on a phone need redrawing?
A studio parent designed this year's show logo in a phone app: a dancer silhouette in arabesque inside a circle, with the show title in a brush script around it. On the recital poster it works. On the plate of a Dance Studio Recognition Plaque, the silhouette's fingertips and the ribbon of the pointe shoe shrink to hairlines, and the script loses its loops. We redraw the silhouette with slightly heavier limbs, keep the circle and set the show title in a cleaner script that still reads as handwriting. The parent approves the comparison. The same prepared file is then used on the Full-Color Dance Event Poster Package, so the lobby and the awards match.

Dance Studio Recognition Plaque
A studio anniversary and a teacher appreciation gift call for different wording. Decide which story the plaque tells, then include one personal detail about the contribution instead of a long list of classes.
The details to personalize: recipient, studio, message, from, year. The product page lets you enter them and carry the design into your quote request.
How is studio artwork prepared for an award?
01
Track down the studio's source artwork
Ask whoever designed the logo, the dancewear supplier or the print shop that made the recital banner for the source file. A designer's file always beats a screenshot cropped from a social post.
02
Decide what the logo cannot lose
Tell us what makes it yours: the silhouette, the studio name, the color band. Thin ribbons, drop shadows and tiny taglines are the usual casualties at plate size, and we show you exactly what is proposed.
03
Approve the comparison and keep it
Check the prepared version against the original. The approved file stays with your order, so the competition trophies in the fall and the recital awards in the spring carry the same mark.
Order terms in brief: Low minimums · production takes no more than 7 days, plus transit · rush available · worldwide shipping · 100% satisfaction refund. Full wording in the FAQ.
Questions about studio logo and show artwork preparation
What if the studio logo is only on our dancewear?
Ask the dancewear or embroidery supplier for the file they stitched from, and send that to Encore Trophy Studio along with a photo of the garment. We work out whether the logo can be used as it is, simplified or redrawn. You compare the prepared artwork with the original, letter by letter, before it goes on any award.
Will a picture of a printed studio jacket or leotard work as the logo source?
Often, if the picture is flat and evenly lit. Stitching softens corners and hides where a stroke starts, so we point out which parts are clear and which would be guesswork, such as a letter lost in a fold. You agree the redraw scope and any charge before the logo is placed on an award.
Can we use a dancer silhouette we found online?
Only if the studio owns it or has a license to reproduce it. If you simply like the pose, describe it: arabesque, grand jeté, a tap stance. Encore Trophy Studio can quote an original silhouette along those lines, which also keeps two studios in the same town from handing out the same clip art.
Can a competition's logo go on awards the studio buys?
Only with the competition's permission, and the studio should ask before sending the file. A studio keepsake that carries the studio's own logo and the routine's placing is safer. If the event does agree, send its own artwork file; a logo copied from the event website is rarely large enough to engrave.
