What should a studio do when an award arrives wrong?
A recital keepsake with a dancer's name on it cannot go back on a shelf for someone else, which is why each line is proofed with the studio owner first. If an acrylic star arrives cracked, or a routine title differs from the proof the owner approved, contact Encore Trophy Studio with the order reference as soon as the box is opened. A studio unhappy with its order is offered a 100% satisfaction refund, as the policy below explains. Tell us what happened and what the studio needs, and whether the recital or banquet has already taken place.
What should the studio include in its report?
- The order reference and the name of the show, competition or banquet.
- Which piece is affected: the dancer or routine, the class and the line that is wrong.
- A clear photo of the piece and, for breakage, of the carton and padding.
- What the approved proof showed for that line, if the engraving differs.
- The date of the show or banquet, so we know whether there is time before it.
Order terms for dance competition awards
- Before accepting
- Your dance competition awards are made to the approved specification, so read the cancellation, return and remedy terms in the written quote first. An illustration does not establish a stocked product or a standard return arrangement.
- Reporting an issue
- Contact Encore Trophy Studio promptly with the order reference, the affected dance competition awards, the problem and photographs where useful, and keep the approved proof for comparison.
- Damage or missing items
- Keep the packaging, photograph the package and contents, check the packing list and share the delivery date.
- Changes after approval
- Report a changed “Year” line, date or dimension at once. Whether it can still be made depends on the stage of work and the order terms; any revised cost or schedule is confirmed before proceeding.
- Remedies and refunds
- Encore Trophy Studio explains the remedy, any return instructions and processing under your order terms and statutory rights. Wait for those instructions before sending anything back.
